13 years, countless spreadsheets, plenty of big decisions, and a whole lot of Bella.
If you know Bella, there’s a very good chance you know Angela Meyer. And if you don’t, trust us when we say you’ve probably experienced the impact of her work without even realizing it.
Angela is Bella Style Salon’s Director of Operations, our longest-standing team member, the woman behind so many of the details that keep our salon moving, and, as Kayli and Tiffanie lovingly call her, our Bella Ride or Die.
So when SALON TODAY chose Angela for its Meet the Manager series, we couldn’t have been more excited to see her get some very well-deserved recognition.

From Bella’s Front Desk to Director of Operations
Angela’s story with Bella started all the way back in March 2013, when she joined the team at the front desk.
And she didn’t stay in one place for long.
Over the years, Angela kept stepping up, learning, leading, and finding new ways to make Bella better. She helped develop front desk training, grew the guest services team, and eventually began digging deeper into the numbers behind the business.
Revenue. Inventory. Ordering. Budgets. Team growth.
Turns out, Angela has a serious talent for making all of those moving pieces make sense.
As her responsibilities grew, so did her role, eventually leading her to become Bella’s Director of Operations.

The Woman Behind the Numbers
There’s a lot happening behind the scenes of a busy salon and spa.
Today, Angela oversees some of the most important parts of Bella’s day-to-day operations, including budgeting, inventory and ordering, team management, onboarding new employees, and helping navigate guest needs.
And according to Kayli, there’s one thing Angela does especially well: she knows her numbers.
She knows where Bella needs to invest, where we need to pull back, and what opportunities are sitting right in front of us.
She works closely with Kayli and Tiffanie through daily check-ins, monthly and quarterly meetings, and ongoing conversations about everything from sales opportunities to team growth.
She isn’t afraid to tell the owners when Bella doesn’t need to spend money either.
That’s part of why we love her.

Why We Call Her Our Ride or Die
Yes, Angela is incredibly good at what she does.
But numbers, budgets, and inventory aren’t really the reason she’s been such an important part of Bella for more than a decade.
It’s the way she shows up.
For the business. For our guests. For the team. And for Kayli and Tiffanie.
After 13 years together, these relationships extend far beyond the salon walls. We’ve watched one another grow, celebrated milestones, navigated hard seasons, and built a business together.
When Kayli and Tiffanie nominated Angela for SALON TODAY’s feature, they summed it up perfectly:
“You can always count on her no matter what. That’s what sets her apart.”
That’s what being a Bella Ride or Die means.

Always Learning, Always Growing
Angela’s growth didn’t stop when she became Director of Operations.
Continuing education is a huge part of Bella’s culture for our service providers and our leadership team alike.
Angela has attended industry education, including the Data-Driven Salon Summit and Serious Business, bringing new ideas, strategies, and perspectives back to Bella.
Because behind every great salon experience is a team that’s constantly asking how we can make it even better.
Angela is a huge part of that work.
A Very Well-Deserved Spotlight
SALON TODAY’s Meet the Manager series celebrates the managers, team leads, and directors who help turn a salon’s vision into reality every single day.
We can’t think of anyone more deserving of that recognition.
Angela has grown alongside Bella for 13 years, and so much of the salon we are today has her fingerprints on it.
So, Ang, this one’s for you. 🤍
Thank you for knowing the numbers, keeping us on budget, taking care of our people, telling us when we absolutely do not need to buy something, and showing up again and again.
Our Director of Operations.
Our longest-standing Bella team member.
And forever our Bella Ride or Die.
