We want you to have the best experience possible when visiting our Northshore Louisiana salon! Here are a few of our most asked questions to make your visit as seamless as possible!
Do I need an appointment? Do you take walk-ins?
We do recommend making an appointment in advance to ensure a stylist will be available to accommodate you. No appointment is necessary. Walk-ins are welcome!
How far in advance should I book an appointment?
We always recommend pre booking for your next appointment before leaving the salon. Our stylists are usually fully reserved 2-4 weeks in advance.
What is your cancellation policy?
Our appointments are confirmed 4 business days in advance. We respectfully request at least 48-hour notice for cancellations. All appointments are reserved with a credit card on file and with a signed copy of the cancellation policy. Any policies not signed 48 hours before will be canceled.
“NO SHOWS” and “CONFIRMED APPOINTMENTS” that no show will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount. Appointments that are made on the same day and need to be canceled, or are a “NO SHOW” will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount. It is imperative that you confirm your appointment via email, text, or phone call in order to secure your upcoming visit. Any appointments NOT “Confirmed” will be canceled 48 hours before the appointment date.
What should I do if I am late for an appointment?
Call our sales team at (985) 639-1602 to inform them of your delay with as much notice as possible. Arriving 10 minutes or later to your appointment may result in needing to reschedule to another day or time.
What form of payments do you accept?
We accept cash, check, and all credit cards.
Do I need a Consultation? How much do consultations cost?
Consultations for hair extensions, color, cutting and skin treatments are complimentary. Consultations are recommended prior to your appointment, but are not mandatory. Every appointment at Bella begins with a consultation to help you and your service provider communicate and create your desired results. Pricing is always discussed prior to your service being performed.
Do you provide men's hair services?
Yes, we offer men’s services for hair, skin and even lashes
Do you provide children's hair services?
Although we cater to mainly men and women, children are welcomed for services as long as they can help us maintain a relaxing environment for our guests, especially for the ones that are in the spa.
Can children come with me to an appointment?
Yes, you can. However, we encourage you to come alone to enjoy your relaxing experience.
How much is a haircut? Do you charge more for longer or thicker hair?
Our services are based on the time it takes to complete each service. Pricing varies depending on the stylist you sit with.
How much is a hair color?
Our services are based on the time it takes to complete each service. Pricing varies depending on the stylist you sit with. Our stylists will provide you a color consultation before each service, so you have an exact quote for what your experience will cost.
Do you do perms?
At this moment, we do not have perms as a service option.
Should I wash my hair before coming in for color?
We recommend hair be washed 24-48 hours prior to your hair service.
How soon after coloring my hair can I wash it?
We recommend waiting 24-48 hours after any color service to ensure the longevity. The main thing we recommend is using a color safe shampoo (no parabans or sulfates).
Do you do make up services?
Yes. We offer makeup services for events or just a fun night out on the town.
What products do you use?
We use Oribe, Back of Bottle (BOB), and Pulp Riot for our hair care products. For skincare we offer SkinMedica and Glymed+
Do you use organic products?
We have vegan, sulfate free, naturally derived, gluten free and medical grade product options available for you. We pride ourselves in only aligning with luxury brands who have you in mind and the environment.
Hair Extension FAQ
We use Bellami Extensions with 5 types of extension install applications including hand tied wefts, I-Tips, K-Tips, tape-ins and volume wefts.
Bellami hair is 100% full cuticle human remy hair.
Yes, you will need to shampoo your hair along with your extensions a few times a week.
Somewhere between 1-2.5 hours depending on your specific desired results.
If your extensions are properly cared for as instructed by your stylist, they will last 9-12 months before it’s time to purchase a new set of hair.
We hope you are as excited as we are to meet and discuss what your dream hair could look like! We will need 30 minutes to go over pictures, install options, pricing, and what maintenance will look like with your new extensions once you are home.
Please allow us to fill the spot with another guest if you can not make it to your appointment. Any NO-SHOWS will result in a $25 fee charged to the card you used to reserve your appointment.
Every 4-8 weeks.
Bellami offers a wide variety of color swatches to give you a flawless match to your current color. If the color is not available on the swatch, your stylist will customize your extensions.
